Scottsdale Bachelorette Itinerary

Scottsdale Bachelorette.jpg

I had the honor of being my best friend’s MOH this Fall. We selected Scottsdale as her bachelorette destination for many reasons. If you’re looking for a setting that has something for everyone, Scottsdale is the place for you. Half the trip felt serene, as if we were day dreaming with our eyes opened in a world full of: endless pools, hikes, desert views and blissful spas. The other half was spent at super chic (and delicious) restaurants and reliving our college days taking advantage of all Scottsdale’s party scene had to offer.

To Stay.

Sanctuary Camelback: Nestled within the inspiring landscapes of Camelback Mountain. This Scottsdale luxury resort was the perfect (conveniently located) property. We had a suite connecting to a second bedroom. It was perfect.

If you’re a larger group— look into an AIRBNB! There were only 6 of us!

To Eat.

Citizen Public House: The perfect Thursday night location for everyone who came a day early! Nestled in Old Town Scottsdale, this upscale gastropub had exceptional New American food complemented by craft beers, an extensive wine list and cocktails.

The Henry: Have a boozy welcome brunch here. #trust. The Henry is an upscale casual eatery with modern decor. The dining space was bursting with charm and energy. The food and cocktails were top notch.

The Mission: Great Friday night dinner spot! The restaurant was filled with other Bachelorette/Bachelor parties there as well kicking off their weekend/night. Great vibes paired with home made Tortillas, Arepas, Salsas, Tacos… and did I mention tequila?!?

Sumomaya: Great vibes and even better food. Do not miss this! At SumoMaya, craveable tapas-style small plates meet the big, bold flavors of the Far East, Mexico and South America to create an exciting dining destination. p.s.- I am still dreaming of the Rock Shrimp!

Additional restaurants we wanted to visit (recommended by friends or found via research), but didn’t have time:

  • Fat Ox

  • Barrio

  • Virtù

  • Talavera

To PARTY.

Shade Lounge at The W, Pool Party: Had the best day ever at the W pool party. Do not miss this!!! Trip highlight. Book a table!

Dierks Bentley: A massive central bar with a DJ and college “frat” scene. Proceed with caution.

Maya Nightclub: We didn’t check this out, but I heard great things.

Bottled Blonde: Another fratty bar with very loud music. Guess that’s what people like for bachelorettes? ekkkk. If we didn’t go to Dierks Bentley the night before, I would have enjoyed this a bit more!

Additional bars we wanted to visit (recommended by friends or found via research), but didn’t have time:

  • The Beverly

  • El Hefe
