Escape Manhattan and step into a city full of history, culture, tradition and tons of delicious seafood. Newport is the perfect destination for a 3-day getaway. The Gilded Age mansions, local eats and cliffside views, makes Newport a coveted destination.

Gurneys Newport Resort & Marina: Situated on Goat Island and surrounded by Narragansett Bay, Gurney’s Newport offers the seclusion of a private island yet is just a jaunt from the shops and eateries of downtown Newport. This is where I like to stay!
Castle Hill Inn: Enchanting setting, relaxed elegance, and authentic Newport vibe. Super lux, but a bit removed from town.
To Eat.
White Horse Tavern: My favorite restaurant, which also happens to be Americas Oldest Tavern (this is a fact). Upscale farm-to-table American cuisine in a historic setting dating to 1673. You must order the brussel sprouts and soup!
The Mooring: Beautiful views of Newport's Narragansett Bay paired with upscale seafood eats. This restaurant is a can't-miss and a staple of Newport.
Stoneacre Brasserie: One of Newport's newest restaurants features a small, and ever changing seasonal menu. They seek meats and produce from local farmers, butchers, and fishermen who follow their same environmental guidelines.
Newport Creamery: delicious ice-cream!
Diego's Mexican Restaurant: Super relaxed cocina turning out modern, West Coast-style Mexican food & a long list of specialty drinks. This restaurant is full of good vibes.
To DO.
Breakers: The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. The building became a National Historic Landmark in 1994 and is a contributing property to the Bellevue Avenue Historic District. Take the self guided tour and be prepared to have a jaw dropping time.
Marble House: Marble House is a Gilded Age mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. Designed as a summer cottage for Alva and William Kissam Vanderbilt by the society architect Richard Morris Hunt, it was unparalleled in opulence for an American house when it was completed in 1892.
Cliff Walk: Walkway with shore line views to die for.
International Tennis Hall of Fame: The International Tennis Hall of Fame is located in Newport. It honors players and contributors to the sport of tennis and includes a museum, grass tennis courts, an indoor tennis facility, and a court tennis facility.
Thames Street: The main strip of downtown Newport. Filled with shops, cafes and restaurants.
Bellevue Avenue: Very famous street of Newport with plenty of shopping.
