Mykonos Travel Guide
The beating sun, extraordinary nightlife, fun dinners, beautiful beaches, experiencing life with our closest friends... and so much more. We loved every moment. From relaxing to partying. Below I’ve recapped my Mykonos highlights. Per usual, read on to see what to do, where to stay and most importantly— where to eattttt.
To Stay.
Branco Mykonos Hotel: We stayed here! Located at Platis Gialos beach (conveniently located near Scorpios and Tavern Nikolas), is a 5 star hotel in Mykonos with great food, incredible views and beautiful amenities. The one negative about this hotel is that the rooms are pricey, yet fairly small... the location makes up for this.
CavoTagoo: A luxury 5 star hotel near Chora, the main town of Mykonos Island in Greece with seaside views. This hotel looks like it was made for the gram.
Santa Marina: A great luxury option. Santa Marina has the only private beach on the island and a pool with jaw-dropping views of the blue sea.
DINNER.
Interni: An atmosphere set in a beautiful garden where the restaurant lights up with dancing, sparklers and lively music. If you’re traveling with friends, do not miss this meal. My favorite dish was the Prawn Tempura.
Remezzo: A jaw-dropping ocean setting in the town of Mykonos where the lights go down, a DJ turns up the volume, the gorgeous (this is not a lie, every staff member was stunning) staff sing/dance and the food is equally remarkable.
Sea Satin: A meal to enjoy with a group of friends. This dining experience pairs food with music. Dancing on chairs is highly encouraged. The food was great, while the atmosphere and dancing made it an evening to remember. I don't recommended this restaurant if you're going as a couple.
Spilia Seaside: Peacefully nestled on a natural platform on the rocks, hanging over the sea, Spilia Seaside Restaurant is an iconic hotspot. Here we got a much needed break from the Mykonos partying at this seaside restaurant with delicious food. The atmosphere was beyond beautiful.

Dinner notes: all dinner reservations should be made for after 10:30PM or you’ll miss out on the fun.
LUNCH.
Kiki’s: A traditional restaurant on a small hill in front of a tiny yet beautiful beach. Known as one of the island's most delicious restaurants. Kiki’s operates with no electricity and grills everything on the menu to perfection. While the wait may be long, it’s worth it. The secret to beating the crowds is to go at 11AM or 3PM. As you wait, you can relax and sip (complimentary) rose under the trees or walk down to the beach for a quick dip. The meal starts with an invite into the kitchen to select your salads followed by a meal full of fresh fish and more. This was an incredible way to start the trip.
Nikolas Tavern: Not as talked about as Kiki’s, but wow— this was one of my favorite meals. This beachside authentic tavern serves traditional Greek cuisine located at the Ayia Napa end of Protaras near Capo Bay Beach. The meal was unreal and the cost was fairly inexpensive compared to the rest of the island. We loved the Greek salad, grilled shrimp and calamari.
Principote: Breathtaking beachfront, with an atmosphere designed for Instagram. Delightfully relaxing and incredibly chic.. this was one of my favorite meals. Favorite dishes included the fresh fish, crab salad, tart, and the Greek salad.
Alamegou: Chic, hip and classy beach bar with desert vibes on a jaw-dropping ocean. Order the grilled clams... this was one of my favorite dishes of Mykonos! Their iced coffee was also incredible. Bonus— if you’re in town on a Wednesday, the restaurant turns into an epic day party.
Nammos: Great food... but overrated. Beach was too crowded and for me, it was too much of a scene. I prefer Principote.
To DO.
Scorpios: The ultimate destination to dress up and dance with your closest friends. This is a MUST.
Rent a Boat: A Mediterranean vacation is not complete without a boat trip. Rent a boat for a few hours and take it allllll in.
Town of Mykonos: Eat dinner in town and spend time exploring the colorful (tiny) streets before or after dinner. Insider tip: Don't explore on a Saturday evening. The town becomes so crowded and you can't take it all in.
Eat Authentic Greek Yogurt: because it's delish.
Nammos Village: A beautiful shopping village with designer shops and inspirational art objects surrounded by botanical gardens.
NIGHT LIFE.
*Disclaimer: I did not experience all of the below, but felt it was necessary to include based on some questions I received.
Cavo Paradiso: The jewel in the Greek clubbing crown for over 20 years, bringing the best talent to Mykonos since 1993. We saw the Chainsmokers.
Bars in Mykonos Town: Astra, Bonbonierre, Guzel and Moni
TO PACK.
Flats: There are so many hills that packing heels just isn't worth it.
Love Shack Fancy: For me... this trip was filled with all outfits from Love Shack Fancy. It was the perfect look for the day and night!
Swimsuits: One-piece suits to adventure in and bikinis to tan in
Sunscreen: Please be safe... wear 50+ SPF!
Fedora: Protect your skin... and look chic.
Straw Bag: Leave your designer handbags at home. I opted for my straw bag with almost every look.
A Chic Beach Bag: During the day, I would bring my beach bag everywhere.
